Application: Fluorine gas (F₂) 🌬️

Fluorine gas (F₂) is a highly reactive and corrosive substance used in various chemical, semiconductor and mining applications.

Monitoring the concentration of F2 gas is crucial for both safety and process optimization. In industrial applications, the DCP007 analyzer utilizes absorption at 280 nm with a 100 cm optical path length (OPL) to provide accurate and reliable measurements.

Producing fluorinated inorganic and organic compounds (ex PTFE)
2. Semiconductor 💻
Combined with N2 used as a cleaning gas in etching process
3. Uranium enrichment 🧪
Conversing of uranium into hexafluoride (UF6)

A second gas can simultaneously be measured by applying a second mA output on the DCP007 for example a mixture of F₂ and N₂.
