Photometric Accuracy
Verification Filters

Kemtrak photometric accuracy verification filters are essential for ensuring precise optical absorbance measurements. Certified against National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards, these filters provide a reliable benchmark for validating both laboratory spectrophotometers and Kemtrak process photometers.

Spectroscopy, a widely used technique in analytical chemistry and life sciences, is subject to stringent regulations from pharmacopoeias and quality assurance organizations worldwide. Maintaining photometric accuracy is crucial for ensuring that the assigned wavelengths provide correct readings. During testing, Kemtrak photometric accuracy verification filters are used to confirm whether the instrument’s data aligns with the benchmark values of the standard.

Manufactured from durable inconel (metal) on quartz, these filters offer long-lasting performance and high accuracy. Consistent spectrophotometer calibration with Kemtrak filters guarantees reliable measurements, compliance with regulatory standards, and reproducibility of results in analytical applications. By ensuring that optical measurement systems remain accurate and reliable, Kemtrak photometric accuracy verification filters play a vital role in maintaining confidence in the data produced by these systems.

Kemtrak Photometric accuracy verification filters

TriClamp_with_NIST

Kemtrak Tri-Clamp type in-line measurement cell with verification accessory using certified NIST traceable verification filters in a standard 12.5 mm size cuvette format.

How it works

The Kemtrak DCP007 series process photometer can be verified using standard non‐intrusive traceable reference standards that will verify photometric accuracy and linearity, both of which are critical to measurement result quality.

The verification accessory allows a standard 12.5 mm square form factor style cuvette to be inserted in the optical circuit.

As process photometers can be verified without the need to interfere with the process line, confidence as a result from regular trouble free verification is assured while saving valuable time and resources.

A beam of light passes through the process line and a NIST validation filter.
