Mercury-Free Statement
At Kemtrak, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety and sustainability of our products and the environment. In alignment with the Minamata Convention on Mercury and recent EU regulations, we are proud to announce our commitment to a mercury-free product line.
Regulatory Compliance
In July 2023, the European Commission adopted the Delegated Regulation transposing the Minamata Convention into EU law. This regulation introduces a prohibition against the manufacture, import, and export of eight additional mercury-containing products, including mercury-containing lamps. Furthermore, on 14 July 2023, the Commission proposed a revision to target the last remaining intentional uses of mercury in various products within the EU.
